Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

From the desk of Chaz Wiebe, Psychotherapist, Counselling Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), RPC, MPCC-S, RTC, MTC-S

Hi, my name is Chaz Wiebe. I look forward to meeting with you as we explore the challenges you face today, along with the strengths you have developed along the way.

My aim is to create a hope-filled therapeutic environment as we work together on the “unfinished business” that may be affecting your personal well-being & your emotional/relational health.

I have worked in mental health since 2002 and am qualified to hold the designations of Counselling Therapist, Registered Professional Counsellor, Master Practitioner of Clinical Counselling and Qualified Clinical Supervisor. I am a member in good standing of the CPCA, and of ACTA (to become the CCTA).

When asked which modalities or approaches I prefer, I often reply that the correct modality is the one that fits the particular client I am working with, at the time. These may integrate narrative writing, assumption/antidote writing, specialized approaches in trauma therapy, CBT, family of origin processing, talk therapy, and the list goes on. Therapy is fit to the individual needs of each client, “homework” is always optional, and clients are welcome to work with me at a frequency that fits within their current schedule.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my past and current clients for their trust in me, and to invite new clients to join me in therapy if what I’ve described seems a good fit for you. It would be my honour to work with you on your journey towards freedom.

Thank you for your trust in me, Chaz Wiebe
